It has been closed/retracted since Sunday/Monday. Ideas what's up?

What to do, if anything? Params are fine as are all other corals, fish,etc...

Mine does that every few months, it will retract a bit for a few days then back to normal. I've heard it means it is growing. Is yours closed up tight, or just retracted a bit?

I can see the tips on about 10 polyps and the remaining polyps, I cannot. I've had it close before but no more than 1-2 days.

Mine has not closed up tight the tips are visible when it retracts. Could be many things most of which I have no knowledge of, the shift in par may have something to do with it, but I would also check Temp, salinity and other measurables just to be safe.

Water params are fine, trates,PO, salinity, temp, CA, Alk and Mag as well as temp. Weekly water changes done. I can see all tips today /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif Maybe beginning to open? I did move it up where it is getting more light and flow (flow was good where it was initially but with the move up, it is getting more)....

I'm wondering if I should dip it and, if so, in what? I have Revive, CoralRX, Lugol's, Prazipro, MelaFix, PimaFix, ParaGuard and Cupramine. If it doesn't open today, I could dip it Saturday...........

    I wouldnt dip it personally.

Turn off water flow, mince a bunch of nice stinky frozen food up and start target feeding it.

Did you double check salinity & temp with secondary test instrument?
