Is the Salifert NO3 kit prone to going bad? The bottles have been sealed tightly, but I've had it for over a year.
    Thanks,
    Mark

    How does it taste?

Sounds like Adam may have tasted it before, perhaps he will volunteer to taste it for you? /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif I have the Salifert NO3 and am using it past it's expiration date. Seems to work ok but without another reference I can't say unequivocally. I keep hoping Hanna is going to release their NO3 checker soon.

Haha, no I was just being a smart ***. I thought I would hurry up and post it before Waverz got to it!

But in all seriousness, Mark, you can bring in a sample of water to the store and we can test it. We've got two different nitrate test kits(marineland and API) to test against.
