Dumbest thing I ever saw in a LFS

Stopped at a LFS & there was a sign that said "Extended warranty on fish now available.   For an extra 50% of the cost of the fish you can buy an extended warranty for 7 days"
Of course this was hung on a tank that not only had a dead fish in it, but it had been there long enough that half of it had been ate.

 

Lol that is extremely idiotic but some people will probably do it.

I believe Iowa Seascapes has their fish priced with and without a guarantee...

That's pretty good. I bet it works though for the people who never seem to keep stuff alive.

I saw a store selling dead coral for a high price once.

 

I went to Teske's and there was a nice hydnophora, but I looked closer and tissue was falling off and the few scraps of meat, or what was left on the skeleton, were being eaten by an Arrow crab

Iowa Seascapes warranty the fish they have on the North wall...I think they told me those fish were treated special, with UV, I think?! All fish should be treated special!!!
