So I'm thinking of starting a hamburger stand...wait, that's not what the title says!
I would like to increase flow in my tank & am considering creating something out of loc-line...most likely 1/2" adjustable outlets from a 3/4" PVC return bar like this (whose tank is this btw?)

Where's the best (cheapest) place to get it?
Do I really need the tool to assemble it?
Anyone have some they'd like to sell?
    Thanks!
    -Eric

Too bad you were not able to stay for the event...Dirk's could have hooked you up. He had a whole variety of loc-line stuff there. You may want to try e-mailing him and see what kind of a deal he can put together for you.

I usually get mine from Savko

No you dont need the tool unless you are incredibly weak.

The tank is in the science dept at UNI

I'd check the non-aquarium related sources first. That stuff is used for more than just aqauriums so you might be able to find it without the premium markups associated with aquarium related items.

Might even want to check the loc-line website itself.

-JB I'm looking everywhere but reef suppliers first - I believe this is used for liquid cooling during cutting and don't know if I can find it locally @ an industrial supply store.

we use it alot at my work as flow for airlines. might be able to find it at some pure hardware stores in the air compressor sections or places where they have sawdust collectors and stuff. just a thought

    Quick question:
Will the threaded 3/4" male adaptor (loc-line) thread into 3/4" PVC?
    Thanks!
