So I'm feeding the fish and I notice one of my brown mushrooms is rolled up. It's like one of these only brown.

I noticed a bristle worm was rolled up in it and I thought it had just been annoyed by the worm and rolled itself up, but I looked closer and could see that part of the worm was actually down the shroom's mouth, and it wasn't letting go. Curious to see how this ends up.
Aren't some frilly shrooms known to be eaters of small fish?

Can't get a good close up, but the light colored squiggle is the worm, and I don't think it's having any fun.

And I think I really need to get those shrooms away from those zoas.

The mushrooms can grow over nearby zoas, blocking their access to light and killing them.

Some shrooms actually have a fairly good sting to them. I've got some frilly red ones that will kill off just about any coral that they touch.
