UV Sterilizer...To use or not to use?

Well I got the Turbo twist from fall fest and I hear so many mixed reviews. So now I am not sure if I want to hook it up or not. Who is all running one now?

 

I use to but after 6 months of use the bulb burned out and i didn't see any benefit from it so i turned mine into a carbon reactor.

 

i ran one for a year and took it off when the bulb needed replaced and i cant tell the difference. if I was you i would sell it on ebay and make some cash

 

+1 Those things are a waste of time for one tank. They kill more of the "good things" to make up for it in what they kill of the "bad things." They would be good on a multi tank setup if you had one for each tank...
